September 1st
Corton: two Pied Flycatchers along the disused railtrack.
Lowestoft: a RED-FOOTED FALCON along Rotterdam Road, just south of the Gull Wing Bridge.
Kessingland: a ringtail MONTAGU'S HARRIER south (08:36).
Benacre: a Redstart at Beach Farm.
Blythburgh: an Osprey from the A12 bridge.
​Dunwich: a MONTAGU'S HARRIER south over the beach (11:30).
Minsmere: a MONTAGU'S HARRIER flew south over West Hide and then over the South Levels (12:13). A Hen Harrier over East Scrape. A Short-eared Owl.
Sizewell: three Black Terns by the outflow.
Alde Estuary: a PURPLE HERON seen flying from the River Alde wall towards North Warren.
Aldeburgh Marsh: two Whinchats near the allotment pools.
Orford: a Pied Flycatcher just west of the castle.
Woodbridge: a BLACK STORK flying over Woodbridge heading east along the Deben.
Deben Estuary: a BLACK STORK on the river, viewed from Stonner Point.
Landguard: a Redstart between the Customs House and The Butts..
Alton Water: the female HOODED MERGANSER again present from Tattingstone Wonder.
Leavenheath: a Wryneck trapped and ringed at Arger Fen.
