September 21st
Benacre Broad: the Pectoral Sandpiper and the Scaup still present.
Minsmere: a Pectoral Sandpiper on West Scrape.
Havergate Island: the juvenile MONTAGU'S HARRIER again.
Butley Low Corner: a Short-eared Owl and 10 Cattle Egrets.
Bawdsey: a Merlin north-west of East Lane lagoons plus 14 Spoonbills south.
September 20th
Lowestoft: a juvenile SABINE'S GULL south past North Beach/Ness Point (08:07)
then seen at a few locations.
> Kessingland: south (08:18).
> Southwold: offshore (08:59).
> Dunwich: south off the cliffs (09:20).

Eight Manx Shearwaters, 30 Sooty Shearwaters, two Arctic Skuas, a Pomarine Skua and a raft of 15 Razorbills off Ness Point late afternoon plus a juvenile SABINE'S GULL.
Benacre Broad: a Pectoral Sandpiper and two Wood Sandpipers.
Southwold: two Manx Shearwaters and ten Sooty Shearwaters north
Minsmere: the Pectoral Sandpiper again on the Konik field.
Slaughden: a Great Northern Diver south and two Little Gulls.
Aldeburgh Marsh: a Cattle Egret and a Merlin.
Hazlewood Marsh: two Ospreys.
Snape: a BLACK STORK flew to reeds
Orford Ness: a BLACK STORK high over heading north and two Ravens flew south.
Havergate Island: the juvenile MONTAGU'S HARRIER again plus 46 Spoonbills, a Merlin and two Cattle Egrets.
Bawdsey: at East Lane two Cattle Egrets south and a Sooty Shearwater south.
Landguard: the Cattle Egrets seen previously at Bawdsey flew south.
September 19th
Gorleston: a dark-morph Pomarine Skua past Gorleston seafront.
Carlton Marsh: the Glossy Ibis in front of the Mooring Hide plus a Short-eared Owl.
Benacre Broad: a female Scaup.
Minsmere: the Pectoral Sandpiper on the Konik field before flying to South Scrape.
Havergate Island: the juvenile MONTAGU'S HARRIER again.
Gedgrave Marsh: the juvenile MONTAGU'S HARRIER also present over the area.​
September 18th
Carlton Marsh: the Glossy Ibis left the roost at 06:15 plus a Short-eared Owl.
Benacre Broad: two Garganey, a female Scaup and a juvenile Curlew Sandpiper.
Minsmere: a Pectoral Sandpiper on the Konik field.
North Warren: five Cattle Egrets on South Marsh.
Havergate Island: the juvenile MONTAGU'S HARRIER again present and also seen at Gedgrave.
Boyton Marsh: a Short-eared Owl and an Osprey high south.

Lowestoft: the 15 Pale-bellied Brent Geese were at Children's Corner, South Beach.
Benacre Broad: a Little Stint and a Scaup.
​Hazlewood Marsh: a BLACK STORK drifted east and 13 Spoonbills roosting.
Havergate Island: the juvenile MONTAGU'S HARRIER again present and also seen at Gedgrave.
​Landguard: a Merlin.

Carlton Marsh: a Glossy Ibis still.
Benacre Broad: a Little Stint, two Curlew Sandpipers and two Garganey.
Blythburgh: an Osprey.
North Warren: a Goshawk south.
​Hazlewood Marsh: an Osprey, 16 Spoonbills and two Ravens flew north.
Orford ess: a BLACK STORK high over teh southern spit.
Havergate Island: a juvenile MONTAGU'S HARRIER flew over the north end plus an Osprey and two Curlew Sandpipers.
​Landguard: a Spotted Flycatcher.

September 15th
Carlton Marsh: a Glossy Ibis on Peto's Marsh.
Pakefield: 13 Pale-bellied Brent Geese on the beach below Pontins.
Westleton Heath: a HONEY-BUZZARD flew over west.
Thorpeness: a Merlin at the old caravan park. Two Great Skua north and two Arctic Skuas and two Velvet Scoters north.
Aldeburgh Marsh: a Pectoral Sandpiper on the allotment pools plus a Merlin and nine Cattle Egrets.
Landguard: a Whinchat and a Black Tern north offshore.
September 14th
Gunton Warren: two Whinchats and a Tree Pipit.
Lowestoft: an Osprey south over North Quay Retail Park.
Kessingland: 15 Pale-bellied Brent Geese on the shorepools. A Black Tern off Benacre Sluice. A Spotted Flycatcher between The Hollies and the Heathland steps.
Benacre Broad: three Little Stint.
Minsmere: two Spotted Flycatchers and a Whinchat at the North Wall bushes.
Thorpeness: a Merlin at the old caravan park.
Slaughden: a Manx Shearwater south.
Boyton Marsh: a juvenile MONTAGU'S HARRIER hunting south along the river wall.
Bawdsey: a Merlin in off.
Landguard: at least three Pied Flycatchers and a Spotted Flycatcher. Three Black Redstarts by the jetty.
Levington: an Osprey flew north over Strattonhall Drift.

September 13th
Lowestoft: 13 Pale-bellied Brent Geese feeding on groynes at Links Road. Two Pomarine Skuas south plus an Arctic Skua. Two pale morph Arctic Skuas from Ness Point.
Mutford: four Ravens over.
Benacre Broad: a Little Stint and a Garganey.
Minsmere: four Little Stints and a first-winter Caspian Gull on East Scrape.
Farnham: two Ravens flying east.
Sizewell: a Great Northern Diver on the sea from the caravan park. A Great Skua and two Little Gulls.
North Warren: a Short-eared Owl.
Slaughden: three Arctic Skuas south plus two Little Gulls on the sea.
Aldeburgh Marsh: three Pectoral Sandpipers flew from the allotment pools, plus a Short-eared Owl, two Cattle Egrets and an two Ospreys on the river.
Alde Estuary: two Ospreys north along the river towards Aldeburgh.
Boyton: a Short-eared Owl.
Ramsholt: a BLACK STORK flew towards Ramsholt.
Deben Estuary: an Osprey opposite Kirton Creek.
Martlesham Wilds: a Whinchat.

September 12th
Lowestoft: 13 Pale-bellied Brent Geese on the beach opposite Sparrow's Nest and two feeding on the south side of Lowestoft harbour.
Aldeburgh Marsh: two, possibly three Pectoral Sandpipers around the pools plus a Whinchat and a Spoonbill.
Hazlewood Marsh: 21 Spoonbills.
Alde Estuary: a BLACK STORK headed high east then circled and appeared to land on the north side between Iken and Hazlewood. An Osprey viewed from Iken.
Farnham: two Ravens heading east over the A12.
Boyton: an Osprey heading towards Hollesley.
Shingle Street: the juvenile MONTAGU'S HARRIER seen at Felixstowe Ferry, seen going north past the derelict martello tower and then heading towards Hollesley Marsh.
Bawdsey: from East Lane, two Great Skuas, a Pomarine Skua, an Arctic Skua four Manx Shearwaters and a Sooty Shearwater plus two Black Terns.
Ramsholt: an Osprey drifting down river.
Alderton: a BLACK STORK soaring over the reservoir.
Felixstowe Ferry: a juvenile MONTAGU'S HARRIER flew towards Kingsfleet.
Alton Water: the female HOODED MERGANSER again present.

September 11th
Lowestoft: a Manx Shearwater north and the 15 Pale-bellied Brent Geese at Ness Point still before flying south. A Great Northern Diver south plus a Great Skua. An adult Little Gull on the sea.
Minsmere: both Arctic Skua and Great Skua south.
Sizewell: a Great Skua south.
Aldeburgh Marsh: a Pectoral Sandpiper on the main pool plus an Osprey, two Ravens and a Cattle Egret.​
Bawdsey: a BALEARIC SHEARWATER north off East Lane.

September 10th
Lowestoft: the 15 Pale-bellied Brent Geese at Ness Point still.
Kessingland: a Great Northern Diver north. At Benacre Sluice, two Black Terns feeding plus an Arctic Skua lingering offshore.
Benacre Broad: three Little Stints and two Curlew Sandpipers.
Minsmere: a Great Northern Diver north.
Thorpeness: two Arctic Skuas south.
Aldeburgh Marsh: two Pectoral Sandpipers on the main pool before flying north. Two Little Ringed Plovers and a Spoonbill.
Bawdsey: a Great Skua south and an Arctic Skua north at East Lane.
Ramsholt: a Glossy Ibis in the pools below the church. A BLACK STORK over the pool and across the river to Kirton plus an Osprey in the area.
Cattawade: the HUDSONIAN GODWIT still present on North Marsh.
Grundisburgh: a BLACK STORK over.

September 9th
Lowestoft: 15 Pale-bellied Brent Geese at Ness Point.
Benacre: a Short-eared Owl at the pits.
Blyth Estuary: an Osprey over the west end.
Minsmere: the Pectoral Sandpiper on East Scrape again with a TEMMINCK'S STINT and a Pectoral Sandpiper present. Two Ravens north over the Scrape and a Cattle Egret. Four Long-tailed Skuas south offshore plus five Arctic Skuas.
Sizewell: 19 Arctic Skuas and two Great Skuas south plus a Manx Shearwater south.
Thorpeness: a Long-tailed Skua south. Two Manx Shearwaters south.
Boyton Marsh: a PURPLE HERON north high over Orford Ness.
Hollesley Marsh: two Ravens.
Bawdsey: two Great Skuas south at East Lane plus a Pomarine Skua and a Long-tailed Skua.
Ramsholt: and four Ospreys in total, two south and two lingering. A Glossy Ibis at the flood below the church.
Alton Water: the female HOODED MERGANSER again present from Tattingstone Wonder.
September 8th
Carlton Marsh: two Short-eared Owls.
Dunwich: a Great Skua south.
Minsmere: the Pectoral Sandpiper on East Scrape.
Felixstowe Ferry: a Whinchat at the boat yard.
Cattawade: the HUDSONIAN GODWIT still present on North Marsh.
September 7th
Benacre Broad: a Wood Sandpiper and three Curlew Sandpipers.
Walberswick: ZITTING CISTICOLAS on Corporation Marsh between the beach and Dunwich River.
Minsmere: a Pectoral Sandpiper on West Scrape.
Slaughden: an Arctic Skua south.
Aldeburgh Marsh: the BLACK STORK south over towards Orford Ness. Also a Cattle Egret and a Whinchat.
Bawdsey: an Osprey and a Tree Pipit heading south at East Lane.
Deben Estuary: a BLACK STORK dropped down behind a bank about one mile south-east of Kyson Point.
Landguard: a Tree Sparrow at the Butts pond.
Loompit Lake: a White Wagtail.
Alton Water: the female HOODED MERGANSER again present from Tattingstone Wonder, resting on a buoy.
Cattawade: the HUDSONIAN GODWIT still present on North Marsh.
September 6th
Lowestoft: the RED-FOOTED FALCON still present along Rotterdam Road by the house with the norfolk hawker mural. Six Sooty Shearwaters north past Ness Point plus an Arctic Skua. A LONG-TAILED SKUA flew north plus four more later.
Benacre Broad: six Little Stints.
Covehithe: a BALEARIC SHEARWATER south.
Southwold: a BALEARIC SHEARWATER south. A Great Skua north.
Walberswick: a juvenile Pectoral Sandpiper on pools before flying south. Two ZITTING CISTICOLAS by the old mill.
Minsmere: a LONG-TAILED SKUA flew north and later one south. A Little Stint on South Scrape.
Sizewell: a Manx Shearwater south plus four Arctic Terns, a Razorbill and a Little Gull.
Thorpeness: a BALEARIC SHEARWATER flew north offshore and a Sooty Shearwater. A Great Northern Diver north and a Short-eared Owl in off.
Slaughden: two Sooty Shearwaters north. A Manx Shearwater north and a first-winter Caspian Gull along the beach.
Aldeburgh Marsh: three Whinchats and a Little Ringed Plover plus an Osprey hunting off the old brick dock.
Iken: a Curlew Sandpiper.
Shingle Street: two Whinchats.
Bawdsey: two Sooty Shearwaters (one north and one south) and a LONG-TAILED SKUA at East Lane. A BALEARIC SHEARWATER north.

Lowestoft: the RED-FOOTED FALCON still present along Rotterdam Road by the house with the norfolk hawker mural. Four Sooty Shearwaters north past Ness Point.
Kessingland: a Short-eared Owl near the sluice.
Benacre Broad: five Little Stints and three Curlew Sandpipers and a Garganey.
Southwold: two Sooty Shearwaters south and a Great Skua.
Walberswick: ZITTING CISTICOLAS by the old mill.
Sizewell: a Great Skua south.
Aldeburgh Marsh: six Whinchats near the allotment pools, also an Osprey, a Spoonbill and a Little Ringed Plover.
Iken: the BLACK STORK again.
Havergate Island: a GREY PHALAROPE.
Boyton: an Osprey hunting before flying towards Orford.
Chillesford: a juvenile BLACK STORK over then over Burrows Hill/Boyton.
Shingle Street: the BLACK STORK south over. Three Whinchats by the tennis courts.
Cattawade: the HUDSONIAN GODWIT still present on North Marsh.

Gunton: five Ravens north over Gunton Warren.
Lowestoft: the RED-FOOTED FALCON still present along Rotterdam Road by the house with the norfolk hawker mural.
Carlton Marsh: four Cattle Egrets.
Southwold: a BALEARIC SHEARWATER flew south offshore and a Sooty Shearwater.
Walberswick: two ZITTING CISTICOLAS by the old mill.
Dunwich: seven Arctic Skuas south.
Sizewell: three Black Terns by the outflow plus an Arctic Tern and four Little Gulls.
Thorpeness: a Pomarine Skua and a Little Gull.
Aldeburgh Marsh: three Cattle Egrets near, a Caspian Gull and 22 Spoonbills, of which 21 flew south.
Iken: two Ospreys and a Spoonbill.
Snape: the BLACK STORK viewed from the Maltings towards Snape Warren.
Shingle Street: a Whinchat and a Tree Pipit.
Cattawade: the HUDSONIAN GODWIT still present on North Marsh.

Lowestoft: the RED-FOOTED FALCON still present along Rotterdam Road by the house with the norfolk hawker mural.
Benacre Broad: nine Little Stints and eight Curlew Sandpipers.
Blyth Estuary: two Ospreys viewed distantly from Hen Reedbeds, one of which seen from the A12 bridge.
Walberswick: a ZITTING CISTICOLA, a Whinchat and a Pied Flycatcher seen between Corporation Marsh and Dingle Hill.
Minsmere: a BALEARIC SHEARWATER flew south offshore. Two Little Ringed Plovers on West Scrape.
Sizewell: four Black Terns by the outflow.
​Hazlewood Marsh: an Osprey flew up river, 15+ Spoonbills and a Whinchat.
Iken: a juvenile BLACK STORK again circling over the river.
Shingle Street: a Pied Flycatcher at the allotments.
Upper Hollesley Common: a Whinchat on the path from the concrete blocks and up to six Spotted Flycatchers seen in mixed flock.
Woodbridge: a BLACK STORK at Kyson Point.
Cattawade: the HUDSONIAN GODWIT still present on North Marsh.

Lowestoft: the RED-FOOTED FALCON still present by the house with the norfolk hawker mural. A Pied Flycatcher on the North Denes. A juvenile CORNCRAKE was photographed walking down Lowestoft High Street.
Benacre Broad: the WHITE-RUMPED SANDPIPER again.
Sizewell: four Black Terns by the outflow plus a Pied Flycatcher and 3+ Black Redstarts near Sizewell A station.
​Hazlewood Marsh: a probable ring-tailed MONTAGU'S HARRIER viewed from the hide looking towards Iken.
Shingle Street: a Pied Flycatcher at the allotments.
Woodbridge: an Osprey flew over Bredfield Road, heading west.

Lowestoft: a RED-FOOTED FALCON along Rotterdam Road, just south of the Gull Wing Bridge.
Kessingland: a ringtail MONTAGU'S HARRIER south (08:36).
Benacre: a Redstart at Beach Farm.
Blythburgh: an Osprey from the A12 bridge.
​Dunwich: a MONTAGU'S HARRIER south over the beach (11:30).
Minsmere: a MONTAGU'S HARRIER flew south over West Hide and then over the South Levels (12:13). A Hen Harrier over East Scrape. A Short-eared Owl.
Sizewell: three Black Terns by the outflow.
Alde Estuary: a PURPLE HERON seen flying from the River Alde wall towards North Warren.
Aldeburgh Marsh: two Whinchats near the allotment pools.
Orford: a Pied Flycatcher just west of the castle.
Woodbridge: a BLACK STORK flying over Woodbridge heading east along the Deben.
Deben Estuary: a BLACK STORK on the river, viewed from Stonner Point.
Landguard: a Redstart between the Customs House and The Butts..
Alton Water: the female HOODED MERGANSER again present from Tattingstone Wonder.
