Kessingland: a Whinchat and a Short-eared Owl at Benacre Sluice and a Tree Pipit along Pedlar's Lane plus a Redstart at the end of Marsh Lane.
Benacre Broad: 14 Curlew Sandpipers, four Little Stints and a Garganey.
Walberswick: an Osprey over Westwood Marsh.
Minsmere: three Little Stints, a Tree Pipit in the dunes and a Short-eared Owl in off. A Wryneck in the woods north of Island Mere.
Sizewell: three Black Terns and several Arctic Terns by the outflow.
Aldeburgh Marsh: an Osprey fishing on river viewed from the old brick works. A Redstart and four Whinchats on the north-west side.
Hazlewood Marsh: 19 Spoonbill.
Orford: a Pied Flycatcher in the meadow area by the car park.
Boyton Marsh: a juvenile MONTAGU'S/PALLID HARRIER north at 09:11.
Shingle Street: a juvenile MONTAGU'S HARRIER north at 08:25 plus three Whinchats, a Spotted Flycatcher and three Pied Flycatchers.
Trimley Marsh: three Redstarts and three Whinchats behind the Reservoir Hide.
Landguard: a Redstart and a Tree Pipit.
Alton Water: the female HOODED MERGANSER again present.
Cattawade: the HUDSONIAN GODWIT again on north marsh.
Lackford: an Osprey.
Cavenham: an Osprey.
August 30th
Lowestoft: a Whinchat at the North Denes fishing posts and a Pied Flycatcher in Crop Shop alley.
Benacre Broad: 19 Curlew Sandpipers, four Little Stints, a juvenile Caspian Gull and an adult Little Gull.
Walberswick: two ZITTING CISTICOLAS by the derelict wind pump.
Minsmere: a Wryneck again along the North Wall in willows plus an Osprey north along the coast.
Sizewell: three juvenile Black Terns and an immature Little Gull by the outflow.
Aldeburgh Marsh: the Wryneck still present along the river wall between the metal gate and wooden steps at the old brick works plus a Redstart. A Little Stint and a Whinchat at the allotment pools.
Hazlewood Marsh: 14 Spoonbill.
Shingle Street: a Whinchat and a Pied Flycatcher. Later a BLACK STORK in flight and then again between Shingle Street and Hollesley.
Woodbridge: a BLACK STORK high over the river heading down towards Ramsholt.
Ipswich: a Wryneck in Ostrich Meadows, Belstead Brook Park.
Cattawade: the HUDSONIAN GODWIT again on north marsh.
Pipps Ford: two Whinchats on the west side.
August 29th
Lowestoft: a juvenile Long-tailed Skuas chasing terns off Ness Point.
Kessingland: two Redstarts, one along Pedlars Lane and one by the fishing lakes.
Benacre Broad: 18 Curlew Sandpipers, six Little Stints, two Garganey, a Spoonbill and a Caspian Gull.
Hen Reedbeds: two Ospreys over the Blyth estuary. Three Little Stints by the hide plus 11 Spoonbill.
Minsmere: a Wryneck along North Wall reeds.
Sizewell: three juvenile Black Terns and an immature Little Gull by the outflow.
Aldeburgh Marsh: the Wryneck still present.
Hollesley: a Wryneck and a Redstart trapped and ringed at a private site.
Shingle Street: a Whinchat by the tennis courts and a Pied Flycatcher at the allotments.
Ramsholt: a Glossy Ibis on the wetland below the church.
Great Finborough: a juvenile MONTAGU'S or PALLID HARRIER flew south-west of Boyton Hall plus two Whinchats.
August 28th
Kessingland: a Wryneck just north of Benacre Sluice.
Benacre Broad: the adult WHITE-RUMPED SANDPIPER again plus 17 Curlew Sandpipers, five Little Stints and a Spoonbill.
Walberswick: three Curlew Sandpipers on a pool south of the Sea Buckthorn.
Dunwich: two Cranes south then turned back and landed on Sandymount Pool..
Minsmere: four Little Stints from North Hide, three Curlew Sandpipers and a juvenile Black Tern.
Sizewell: three Black Terns and an adult Little Gull by the outflow.
Aldeburgh Marsh: three Little Stints, four Whinchats and a Cattle Egret over. A Short-eared Owl appeared to come in off and land on the marsh. A Wryneck in scrub by the river wall footpath by the old brickworks.
Hazlewood Marsh: an Osprey seen to catch a fish near the hide and also seen from Snape Maltings.
Felixstowe Ferry: a Little Stint seen from the house boats.
Trimley Marsh: a Wryneck trapped and ringed.
Cattawade: the HUDSONIAN GODWIT again on north marsh.
August 27th
Corton: a Wryneck on the western path, by the south-west corner of the new sewage works plus a Redstart. A Pied Flycatcher in the churchyard
Gunton Warren: a Wryneck on the clifftop opposite the football pitch car park.
Lowestoft: a Redstart on the fishing nets.
Benacre Broad: the adult WHITE-RUMPED SANDPIPER again plus 17 Curlew Sandpipers, three Little Stints and two Garganey. An Osprey south.
Minsmere: two Little Stints and a Black Tern on South Scrape.
North Warren: a Redstart on the edge of the old railway near the south lookout.
Bawdsey: two Arctic Skuas at East Lane.
Landguard: a Sooty Shearwater north plus four Tree Pipits, a Whinchat and a Redstart.
Cattawade: the HUDSONIAN GODWIT again on north marsh.
August 26th
Corton: a Pied Flycatcher and a Redstart in the churchyard with two Whinchats and a Redstart at Radar Lodge.
Kessingland: a Whinchat by Benacre Sluice.
Benacre Broad: the adult WHITE-RUMPED SANDPIPER again plus eight Curlew Sandpipers, four Little Ringed Plovers, a Spoonbill and a first-winter Caspian Gull. Offshore a north, two Pomarine Skuas and four Arctic Skuas south.
Southwold: a Redstart in the cemetery.
Reydon Marsh: two Whinchats, viewed from the raised footpath to the Bailey Bridge.
Blyth Estuary: an Osprey over and two Spoonbills.
Minsmere: a juvenile Little Stint.
Thorpeness: two LONG-TAILED SKUAS offshore.
Hazlewood Marsh: an Osprey over and the BLACK STORK upriver towards Snape.
Shingle Street: two Whinchats.
Bawdsey: an Arctic Skua at East Lane.
Landguard: a Tree Pipit south of the Obs.

August 25th
Gunton: a Pied Flycatcher in pines along the east side of Dip Farm football pitch plus a Redstart, with another at Gunton Warren.
Benacre Broad: the adult WHITE-RUMPED SANDPIPER again and a Curlew Sandpiper.
Southwold: a LONG-TAILED SKUA lingering offshore and five Arctic Skuas south.
Reydon Marsh: two Whinchats, viewed from Quay Lane.
Minsmere: a Black Tern and a Curlew Sandpiper on South Scrape plus five Arctic Skuas south. Two Redstarts just east of the pond.
Middleton: a Raven flew west.
Aldeburgh Marsh: two Whinchats.
Hazlewood Marsh: an Osprey towards Iken.
Butley River: three Whinchats and 32 Spoonbills on the upper reaches.
Shingle Street: a Whinchat by the tennis courts.
Cattawade: the HUDSONIAN GODWIT again on the river, on north marsh.
Cavenham Heath: a Whinchat and four Spotted Flycatchers.
August 24th
Lowestoft: six Arctic Skuas south.
Benacre Broad: three Caspian Gulls (2 juv, 1 2CY).
Southwold: a Black Tern and seven Arctic Skuas south.
Hazlewood Marsh: two Curlew Sandpipers on the rising tide.
Cattawade: the HUDSONIAN GODWIT again on the river, on north marsh.
Hadleigh: a Whinchat near Pond Hall Road.
August 23rd
Benacre Broad: the adult WHITE-RUMPED SANDPIPER still present.
Walberswick: four Spoonbills on Corporation Marsh.
Westleton Heath: a Tree Pipit on the north side.
Eastbridge: a pair of Ravens over.
Aldeburgh Marsh: two Curlew Sandpipers on the west pools plus a Whinchat.
Hazlewood Marsh: two Ospreys towards Iken plus a Whinchat. The BLACK STORK circling over and landed between Iken and St. Botolph's before flying towards Sudbourne.
Shingle Street: a Whinchat opposite the first car park.
Trimley Marsh: a MARSH WARBLER trapped and ringed.
Cattawade: the HUDSONIAN GODWIT again on the river, on north marsh.
Badley: a Whinchat near Badley church.
August 22nd
Benacre Broad: an adult WHITE-RUMPED SANDPIPER.
Hazlewood Marsh: an Osprey sat on a post in the south-west corner.
Felixstowe Ferry: a Red-backed Shrike behind the millennium green.
Landguard: a Black Redstart in front of the Obs.
Ipswich: a Ring-necked Parakeet over Alan Road.
Cattawade: the HUDSONIAN GODWIT again on the river, on north marsh.
August 21st
Southwold: a Black Tern south.
Benacre Broad: a Glossy Ibis and two Garganey.
Minsmere: a Glossy Ibis on Island Mere before flying north.
Hazlewood Marsh: a BLACK STORK in a ditch before flying up into trees. An Osprey sat on and 21 Spoonbills plus a Curlew Sandpiper on the rising tide.
Shingle Street: two Whinchats and a Pied Flycatcher by the allotments.
Melton: three Spoonbills on the river by the HMS Vale boat café.
Cattawade: the HUDSONIAN GODWIT again on the river, on north marsh.
August 20th
Carlton Marsh: two Wood Sandpipers on the old scrape.
Alde Estuary: an Osprey up river from Aldeburgh Marsh.

Landguard: two Black Redstarts plus a Purple Sandpiper on the jetty.

Bawdsey: an Arctic Skua south and the Garganey still on the second lagoon at East Lane.
Cattawade: the HUDSONIAN GODWIT again on the river, on north marsh.
August 14th
Breydon Water: a CASPIAN TERN and a Whinchat near Humberstone Farm.
Lowestoft: two Pied Flycatchers and a Redstart at the sewage works and another Pied Flycatcher at Heathlands copse.
Kessingland: two Pied Flycatcher at Rant Score.
Walberswick: an Osprey south over the sea before turning inland over reedbeds. At least nine ZITTING CISTICOLAS seen at various points including from the beach and near Little Dingle plus a Wood Sandpiper.
Aldeburgh Marsh: three Cattle Egrets north.
Snape: an Osprey just east of Snape Maltings.
Bawdsey: three Pied Flycatchers at Bawdsey Hall and a Garganey on the lagoons at East Lane.
Cattawade: the HUDSONIAN GODWIT again on the river, on north marsh.

Zitting Cisticola breeds again in 2026
"We are excited to announce Zitting Cisticola breeding success again at Corporation Marsh NNR in 2026.
At least 11 birds present - with up to three males zitting and at least 7 juveniles from 3 broods as of 06/08/2026.
Ranging south to Little Dingle and inland to the old wind pump. Best viewed from beach or boardwalk/footpath that runs from beach to wind pump.
Please do not enter fenced off area and stick to footpaths/boardwalk.

Worlingham Marsh: a HONEY-BUZZARD over Worlingham Woods, viewed from Marsh Lane. Later two birds flew into Norfolk.
Alton Water: a Quail crossed Holbrook Road near the entrance to the visitor centre.
Shotley: a Cattle Egret in a field up from Shotley Marina.
Cattawade: the HUDSONIAN GODWIT again on the river, on north marsh.

Carlton Marsh: a BLACK STORK above Peto's Marsh then following the river heading towards Beccles.
Worlingham Marsh: an adult and a juvenile HONEY-BUZZARD over, flying towards Beccles.

Eastbridge: two BLACK STORKS circling slowly north then seen at a few locations.

Breydon Water: the MARSH SANDPIPER again on the mudflats in the evening and the Pectoral Sandpiper again early on.

Sizewell: a CASPIAN TERN flew north offshore.
Slaughden: a Black Tern offshore.
Orford Ness: the two BLACK STORKS seen circling over the pagodas before first heading towards Gedgrave and then inland towards Chillesford.
Ramsholt: two Glossy Ibises still.
Hemley: two juvenile BLACK STORKS in the saltmarsh below the church before circling up and over the river.
Cattawade: the HUDSONIAN GODWIT again on the river, on north marsh.

King's Fleet: two juvenile BLACK STORKS over drifting south then seen at a few locations.
