Westleton Heath: the IBERIAN CHIFFCHAFF still present.
Minsmere: a Wood Sandpiper and a pair of Garganey on West Scrape.
Aldeburgh Marsh: the LESSER YELLOWLEGS still on the main pool. A ringtail Harrier species circling over.
Sudbourne Marsh: a Whinchat.
Havergate Island: a Bewick's Swan flew low north. A probable Hen Harrier over.
Shelley: three Wood Sandpipers on Gifford's Flash.
April 26th
Lowestoft: a Great Skua and a dark-phase Arctic Skua north off Ness Point.
​Westleton Heath: the IBERIAN CHIFFCHAFF still present.
Aldeburgh Marsh: a LESSER YELLOWLEGS on the main pool.
Boyton Marsh: a pair of Garganey on the new scrape.
Falkenham: a Ring Ouzel headed north.
Landguard: a male Ring Ouzel on the common.
Ixworth: a male Ring Ouzel on the Peddars Way.
Cavenham Heath: a Grasshopper Warbler east of Temple Bridge.

Lowestoft: a Black Redstart at the Orbis Building.
Kessingland: a Ring Ouzel north of Benacre Sluice.
Southwold: a Wryneck calling 400m south along the beach.
Dunwich: a Spoonbill south.
Westleton Heath: the IBERIAN CHIFFCHAFF still present.
Landguard: a female SERIN and a male Ring Ouzel.

April 24th
Lowestoft: the HUME'S WARBLER in Sycamores along the path on the west side of Denes Oval. Four Purple Sandpipers north of Ness Point.
Kessingland: two male Ring Ouzels north of Benacre Sluice.
Walberswick: a Crane circling south over Westwood Marshes.
Minsmere: a Crane south over the site and continuing past Sizewell. A White Stork flew over the car park.
Knodishall: a White Stork heading north towards the village.
Hazlewood Marsh: a Curlew Sandpiper seen from the track to the hide.
Shingle Street: a Corn Bunting in the field opposite the tennis tennis courts, two Ravens north and two Spoonbills south.
Landguard: a female SERIN, a Ring Ouzel, two Black Redstarts, two Common Redstarts and a Whinchat.
Shelley: a Wood Sandpiper on Gifford's Flash.
Lackford Lakes: five Black Terns from Steggall's Hide.
Livermere: 29 Black Terns flying around Broad Water.

Lowestoft: the HUME'S WARBLER in Sycamores along the path on the west side of Denes Oval. Three Purple Sandpipers at Ness Point and a Black Redstart south of the Orbis Building.
Carlton Marsh: a Wood Sandpiper on Peto's Marsh.
Kessingland: a male Ring Ouzel north of Benacre Sluice and five Shore Larks again.
Easton Broad: a male PALLID HARRIER.
Westleton Heath: the IBERIAN CHIFFCHAFF still present in the south-east corner.
Minsmere: a Pectoral Sandpiper on South Scrape.

Westleton Heath: the IBERIAN CHIFFCHAFF still present in the south-east corner.
Nunnery Lakes: a RED-RUMPED SWALLOW over the flood.

Pakefield: two Ring Ouzels present in clifftop fields west of the bunker.
Kessingland: two Ring Ouzels present one male again by Benacre Sluice and another male at the bottom of Heathlands beach steps.
Westleton Heath: the IBERIAN CHIFFCHAFF still present in the south-east corner.
Minsmere: a male Ring Ouzel along the approach road.

Lowestoft: the HUME'S WARBLER by the tennis courts at Denes Oval.
Kessingland: a male Ring Ouzel at Benacre Sluice.
Westleton Heath: an IBERIAN CHIFFCHAFF singing in the south-east corner.
Minsmere: a Little Gull at Island Mere.
Hazlewood Marsh: an Osprey on a post by the seawall.
Hollesley Marsh: a IBERIAN CHIFFCHAFF heard singing.

Shingle Street: a Black Redstart by the tennis courts.

Lowestoft: the HUME'S WARBLER by the tennis courts at Denes Oval.
​​Dunwich Heath: a Whinchat just off the main East-West path.
Minsmere: the Ring Ouzel by the sluice and a Short-eared Owl near the chapel.
​Hollesley Marsh: three Spoonbills south over and a Water Pipit south of the pillbox.
Cavenham Heath: a Ring Ouzel and an Osprey passed through.
April 12th
Lowestoft: the HUME'S WARBLER again in Sparrow's Nest Garden.
Minsmere: a RED-RUMPED SWALLOW over the north bushes and two Spoonbills on South Scrape. The Ring Ouzel still between the sluice and Sizewell.
April 11th
Lowestoft: the HUME'S WARBLER again in Sparrow's Nest Garden. A Great Skua north off Ness Point.
Carlton Marsh: a drake Garganey still on Peto's Marsh.
Minsmere: a Ring Ouzel between the sluice and Sizewell.
Havergate Island: a KENTISH PLOVER on the scrape.
Martlesham Wilds: a Water Pipit.
April 10th
Lowestoft: the HUME'S WARBLER again in Sparrow's Nest Garden.
Minsmere: a Ring Ouzel by the sluice.
Boyton Marsh: two Cranes south. A WHITE-TAILED EAGLE soaring over.
​Shingle Street: the WHITE-TAILED EAGLE continued south inland.
Loompit Lake: the first Turtle Dove of the year.
Willisham: a male Redstart in a garden.
April 9th
Lowestoft: the HUME'S WARBLER again in Sparrow's Nest Garden. Three Purple Sandpipers just north of Ness Point.
A WHITE-TAILED EAGLE was noted at a few locations:
> Lowestoft: flew high south (12:59).
> Kessingland: high south over The Hollies (13:02).
> Benacre: heading inland (13:10).
> Easton Broad: heading south (13:25).
> Westleton: over Mount Pleasant (13:58).
> Minsmere: viewed from Whin Hill (14:02). Then a second bird in the area (14:07).

​Felixstowe Ferry: an ALPINE SWIFT low over the Ferryboat Inn pub.
April 8th
Corton: a Firecrest in Corton Wood.
​Covehithe: a male Ring Ouzel on the meadow south of Covehithe Broad.
​Southwold: a Spoonbill on the scrape by the old railway line.
​Aldeburgh Marsh: the pair of Garganey still present on the pool near the allotments.
Hollesley Marsh: two Spoonbills and a Little Ringed Plover on the scrape.
Alton Water: an Osprey over.
Elmswell: a male Ring Ouzel flushed from fields north of Lawn Farm quarry.
​Lackford Lakes: four Little Ringed Plovers on the Slough.
April 7th
Carlton Marsh: a pair of Garganey still on Peto's Marsh plus two Little Ringed Plovers.
Worlingham Marsh: the first Cuckoo of the year.
Westleton: the first Nightingale of the year.
Boyton Marsh: two Cattle Egrets with cattle.
Shingle Street: at Raven flying south over Twin Banks.
Martlesham Wilds: two Little Ringed Plovers from the viewing platform.
Woodbridge: the first Nightingales of the year with three around Broomheath and Kyson.
April 6th
Kessingland: eight Shore Larks again in the usual area plus a White Wagtail and a Little Ringed Plover.
Southwold: a female/first-winter male Black Redstart at the harbour by the fishing boats.
Dunwich: a Black-throated Diver offshore slowly heading north.
Minsmere: a Garganey still present.
Martlesham Wilds: two Water Pipits.
Landguard: the SERIN again on site.
Suffolk Water Park: a female Goosander.

April 5th
Lowestoft: six Purple Sandpipers just north of Ness Point.
Kessingland: a Black Redstart at Benacre Sluice.
Dingle Marsh: a drake GREEN-WINGED TEAL.
Minsmere: a Spoonbill on the Scrape and a drake Garganey from South Hide.
Martlesham Wilds: two Water Pipits and two Little Ringed Plovers from the viewing platform.
April 4th
A WHITE STORK was tracked south at a few locations:
> Oulton Marsh: circling low over (12:04).
> Carlton Marsh: circling north end of Peto's Marsh (12:04) before drifting over by the visitor centre (12:08).
> Carlton Colville: drifting over (12:15).
> Kessingland: gone over the wind turbines (12:28).
> Benacre: low south over Benacre Church (12:32).
> Blyth Estuary: circling high (13:17).
> Walberswick: very high over the village (13:25).

Kessingland: five Shore Larks again in the usual area and a Black Redstart at Benacre Sluice.
Minsmere: the first Common Tern of the year on East Scrape and a pair of Garganey on South Scrape.

Carlton Marsh: a pair of Garganey still on Peto's Marsh plus a Water Pipit.
Kessingland: five Shore Larks again in the usual area.
Snape Marsh: a Glossy Ibis flew upstream.
Hollesley Marsh: a Yellow-legged Gull and a Little Ringed Plover on the scrape.
Shingle Street: two Firecrests at the allotments.
Trimley Marsh: a Firecrest.

Gorleston: a Black-throated Diver offshore.
Kessingland: five Shore Larks again between the pillbox and Pakefield coastwatch.
Southwold: the first Yellow Wagtail of the year over North Marsh and three Pink-footed Geese on the marsh.
Minsmere: a Little Stint on East Scrape and a pair of Garganey in front of South Hide.
Shelley: a pair of LESSER SCAUP on Gifford's Flash.

Carlton Marsh: a drake Garganey on Peto's Marsh still.
Kessingland: five Shore Larks again on the beach just south of Pakefield coastwatch.
Minsmere: a Black-throated Diver offshore, off the end of the North Wall and a Spoonbill on East Scrape.​​
