November 13th

Ashby Warren: four Cattle Egrets heading north to go to roost.

Hopton: a Yellow-browed Warbler at the entrance to Hopton Holiday Village.

Minsmere: a Firecrest in the North Bushes and a TEMMINCK'S STINT going between East and West Scrapes..

North Warren: the first-winter ISABELLINE SHRIKE still present.

Shingle Street: three Firecrests at the allotments.

Alderton: a Firecrest trapped and ringed in a garden.

Landguard: both PALLAS'S WARBLER  and BARRED WARBLER still at LBO.

Woodbridge: two Cattle Egrets again on Kingston Meadow.

Lower Holbrook: two Slavonian Grebes in Holbrook Bay.

Minsmere: a Snow Bunting by the sluice.

North Warren: the first-winter ISABELLINE SHRIKE still present.

Landguard: the PALLAS'S WARBLER still at LBO.

Ipswich: Common Crane flew north over Piper's Vale.

November 11th

Kessingland: five Shore Larks on the beach by the shore pools.

Benacre: an adult Caspian Gull on the broad.

Walberswick: a Snow Bunting at the feeding station along the beach and another bird near the beach huts. A Purple Sandpiper and a Caspian Gull.

North Warren: the first-winter ISABELLINE SHRIKE still present on North Marsh.

Woodbridge: two Cattle Egrets showing extremely well on Kingston Meadow.

Landguard: both PALLAS'S WARBLER  and BARRED WARBLER still at LBO.

Ampton: Tree Sparrow trapped and ringed at the Barracks.

November 10th

North Warren: the first-winter ISABELLINE SHRIKE again present but elusive.

Landguard: the PALLAS'S WARBLER still at LBO.

 

November 9th

Lowestoft: Yellow-browed Warbler in the shelter belt just north of Denes Oval. A SIBERIAN CHIFFCHAFF in Buddleia at Dunelm.

Walberswick: two FAN-TAILED WARBLERS again in the usual area.

North Warren: a first-winter ISABELLINE SHRIKE in scrub on the east side of the old railway line. A Firecrest along the old railway line.

Aldeburgh: PALLAS'S WARBLER still the north-east corner of the churchyard.

Orfordness: singles of both Glossy Ibis and Spoonbill flying down river. A Merlin by the beach and a Razorbill drifting south offshore.

Iken: Cattle Egret at Hill Farm.

Landguard: the PALLAS'S WARBLER still at LBO plus a BARRED WARBLER by the back fence.

Falkenham Creek: two Whooper Swans in a cereal field.

 

November 8th

Hopton: a Yellow-browed Warbler at Warren Road.

Gunton: PALLAS'S WARBLER at Dip Farm at the north end of the railtrack.

Lowestoft: PALLAS'S WARBLER seen in Crop Shop Alley and Norman Peskett car park plus a Yellow-browed Warbler. Two Black Redstarts by the turbine at Ness Point. A Yellow-browed Warbler in the shelter belt just north of Denes Oval with a Long-eared Owl in the shelter belt just south of Links Hill car park..

Kessingland: a Yellow-browed Warbler by the entrance to Seaview Holiday Park. Six Shore Larks on the beach by the shore pools. A BLYTH'S REED WARBLER trapped and ringed at the sewage works.

Southwold: a SIBERIAN CHIFFCHAFF in a large sallow clump by the golf course club entrance along with a Yellow-browed Warbler and a Firecrest. A Yellow-browed Warbler still in the North Road copse.

Walberswick: three FAN-TAILED WARBLERS again in the usual area.

Aldeburgh: PALLAS'S WARBLER in the north-east corner of the churchyard.

Alde Estuary: PALLAS'S WARBLER.

Sternfield: six Cattle Egrets with cattle along Sternfield Road between Snape and Sternfield.

Boyton Marsh: two Cattle Egrets near Banters Barn.

Landguard: the PALLAS'S WARBLER still at LBO with a ringtail Hen Harrier south and a Merlin.

Levington Marina: a Glossy Ibises in flight heading towards Trimley Marsh.

Mildenhall: the Yellow-browed Warbler still present.

November 7th

Lowestoft: Pale-bellied Brent Goose and a Red-breasted Merganser south off Ness Point plus a Short-eared Owl in off.

Kessingland: a Yellow-browed Warbler at the beach end of Rider Haggard Lane with another at the entrance to Seaview Holiday Park. Four Shore Larks and a Snow Bunting ranging between Heathlands and Crazy Mary's Hole.

Southwold: a Purple Sandpiper on groynes just north of the pier.

Walberswick: three, possibly four FAN-TAILED WARBLERS again in the usual area.

Minsmere: three Snow Buntings on the beach towards Sizewell.

Landguard: the PALLAS'S WARBLER still at LBO behind the kitchen.

Mildenhall: the Yellow-browed Warbler still present.

 

November 6th

Kessingland: four Shore Larks on the beach opposite Heathlands caravan park.

Southwold: a Yellow-browed Warbler in the North Road copse along the gravel track from the boating lake.

Walberswick: three Greater White-fronted Geese south and a Lapland Bunting south along the beach.

Minsmere: two Glossy Ibises south over the Scrape and a DUSKY WARBLER calling in dunes south of the sluice.

Aldeburgh: a PALLAS'S WARBLER viewed from the footpath behind the boat yard.

Slaughden: the two Glossy Ibises seen over Minsmere also went south over Slaughden.

Orford: a Yellow-browed Warbler north of the village and a Firecrest at Quay Meadow.

Landguard: the PALLAS'S WARBLER still at LBO behind the kitchen.

Lackford Lakes: Merlin flew west.

November 5th

Kessingland: three Shore Larks by the shore pools.

Benacre: a Purple Sandpiper at the sluice.

Southwold: a Purple Sandpiper on groynes just north of the pier.

Orford: a Firecrest by the doctors surgery.

Bawdsey: a male Long-tailed Duck flew north at East Lane.

Landguard: PALLAS'S WARBLER at LBO.

 

November 4th

Walberswick: a FAN-TAILED WARBLER again in the usual area.

Thorpeness: a Little Auk and a Red-necked Grebe flew north offshore.

November 3rd

Southwold: two Purple Sandpipers on groynes just north of the pier and a Black Redstart north of the boating lake.

Minsmere: Water Pipit between North and West Hides.

 

November 2nd

Carlton Marsh: eight Cattle Egrets roosted and three Water Pipits on Peto's Marsh.

Walberswick: three FAN-TAILED WARBLERS again in the usual area.

Minsmere: two Common Cranes on the levels.

Upper Hollesley Common: the BROWN SHRIKE still present by the MOD compound.

Knettishall: Great Grey Shrike present around Knettishall airfield.

 

November 1st

Lowestoft: Yellow-browed Warbler and three Firecrests at Arnold's Walk.

Southwold: a Scaup south.

Westleton Heath: two Firecrests.

Aldeburgh: a Velvet Scoter south.

Boyton Marsh: two Jack Snipe on the first left-hand flash.

Upper Hollesley Common: the BROWN SHRIKE still present by the MOD compound.

Melton: Glossy Ibis on the saltmarsh area just down river from Wilford Bridge.

Mildenhall: the Yellow-browed Warbler still present.​
